The allegations in a freshly unsealed presentment by a state investigative grand jury have seriously compromised Attorney-General and Scranton native Kathleen Kane’s ability to run her office. Although the presentment proves nothing with regard to criminal actions, it paints a picture of a vindictive and even incompetent public official who places politics ahead of her duties as the state’s top cop. It is time for her to go.
